really nice, the acrilic diffuses the light across the wings and creates a nice effect, easily enough light to read by and see what your doing, but subtle enough to fall asleep with no problems, easy to wire up and fix to the wall with the supplied raw plugs and screws, altogether a nice well constructed product. totally recommend, but probably not enough light to replace a main light if you use it say for main light in a lounge.
